Apple Script or Automator to convert WAV 32bit->16bit and load to Logic?

Hi, here's what I'm trying to do:

Save a wavefile from a secondary program

Have a Smart Folder hooked up to that folder the wavefile is saved onto

Load Logic Pro with a specific Environment (Audio Bin showing, for instance)

Have Wavefile be added to said open song.

So far, everytime I get Logic Pro to start up with a wavefile, it tries to open up a new song, instead of adding it to the one already open.

The arranger is also confusing, all it has is: a speaker with red X over it.

So my autoload is not used. Is there some way to force Logic to load new samples with a specific Autoload/User Song Template?

And to only add to the currently open song (like Drag'N'Drop directly from Finder to Audio Bin, but automatically, upon Smart Folder additions)?

MacBook Pro (15-inch Mid 2009), OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.2)
